Antique Bronze Keyed Alike Cabinet Lock, 7/8" Bore

Simple security for drawers and doors.

A good fit for desk drawers, cabinets and liquor cabinets, this cylinder lock is easy to install and keyed alike, so one key works every lock you put in.

Keyed alike.

All the keys are identical. Put one on every drawer in an office or every door in a kitchen and you only need to carry one key.

Sized for standard work.

The cylinder is .866" across and needs a 7/8" hole. It's 15/16" long, so in a 3/4" door or drawer front it stands 3/16" proud of the face. The bolt throws 7/16".

Installing it.

Work the lock by hand first to decide where the hole goes. Bore a 7/8" hole with a sharp bit, with a backup board clamped behind to stop chip-out. Mount the lock with the screws provided, then the strike plate. You may need a bit of wood blocking to line the strike up. The escutcheon trim ring should fit snug; if it has any play, a drop of glue will hold it.
