A secure mount—with a more refined look.
Built specifically for our 32mm round rods, these wall-mounted end brackets are designed to anchor your closet rod firmly in place while keeping the overall look simple, modern, and intentional.
No visible screws. No bulky flange.
Once the rod is installed, it completely covers the mounting screws—so what you see is a smooth, uninterrupted face.
Unlike many brackets, there's no wide outer flange surrounding the rod. The profile stays tight and compact, without drawing attention to itself.
That also means you're not forced into using a wide mounting surface. A wood cleat can be as small as 3", giving you more flexibility—especially in tighter spaces.
Cast metal construction—not stamped or plastic.
These brackets are formed from molten metal using a precision mold—not stamped out of thin sheet metal, or even worse…plastic.
The result is a thicker, more substantial part with smoother edges, better durability, and a more refined overall look. The embossed Desunia logo is built right into the face—a clear mark of our design.
A finish that actually holds up.
A great satin brass finish starts with a properly prepared surface.
Before plating, each bracket is carefully smoothed and refined through a multi-step process to create a consistent base. After plating, the satin effect is applied by hand using a specialized abrasive process to achieve a soft, uniform brushed appearance.
The result is a rich, warm finish that adds character without being overly bright—and matches our rods and other components so everything looks like it belongs together.
Designed to stay put—with everything you need included.
Each bracket includes a set screw that locks the rod in place once installed.
To keep the look intentional, install each bracket so the set screw faces the rear (toward the wall). Once tightened, it keeps the rod centered and prevents it from shifting or lifting over time.
We also include two screw lengths so you're covered:
- Shorter screws for mounting into 3/4" wood panels
- Longer screws for drywall installations (used with the included anchors)
These brackets are intended for use with our 32mm round closet rods (sold separately), so you can choose the length that fits your space.
Here's what you get…
- 2 satin brass round closet rod end brackets
- Mounting screws (two lengths: 3/4" and 1 3/16")
- Hollow wall anchors
- Hex wrench for set screw

Round Rod Specs
What diameter is the rod?
32mm, which is just under 1-5/16". The wall of the tube is a sturdy 1mm thick.
How much weight can it handle?
In our own real-world testing: a 4' span held 63 lbs with 1/16" of sag, a 5' span held 79 lbs with 1/8" of sag, and a 6' span held 95 lbs with 1/2" of sag.
Will I need a center support?
Up to about 5' the rod is very solid on its own. Around 6' you may see slight sag under heavy loads, so we recommend a center support for longer, fully loaded spans.
How does this compare to a telescoping rod?
Telescoping rods use thinner overlapping tubes, so they flex more and hold less. They also have a bump in the middle where the tubes overlap, which catches hangers. Ours is one solid piece of steel: stronger and cleaner looking.
Is a round rod stronger than an oval rod?
Yes. A round rod spreads the load more evenly, so it deflects less under weight.
Screw-On Installation & Support Guidelines
Can I install this into wood panels?
Yes. The kit includes shorter screws sized for 3/4" panels and other wood surfaces.
Do I need to locate studs?
If you can hit a stud, the longer screws alone will do the job. If not, the included drywall anchors give you a strong, secure installation.
Any tips for drywall installation?
Use the bracket as a template to drill two 3/16" holes, then tap the anchors in until they're flush. Start the screws with a drill and finish them by hand so you don't overtighten.
I'm installing wood cleats. How wide should they be?
Because our brackets don't have a bulky outer flange, cleats can be as narrow as 3" and still give solid support. That means less material and a cleaner look.
Why do your brackets use set screws?
The set screw keeps the rod from shifting or lifting out, and lets you center it exactly. For the cleanest look, install the brackets with the set screws facing the back of the closet.
